Right: This Great Blue Heron looks like he's been caught with his pants down!
On our way back home, we stopped at the nearby Spocott Windmill. It wasn’t in operation, but it afforded a nice photo op.
The windmill is typical of the grist post mills used in the 18th and 19th centuries to grind grain.
